News

Coutts launches single brand strategy and adapts corporate identity worldwide: Linkgroup produces exceptional brochure to accompany new brand.

Since November 2011, Swiss-based RBS Coutts Bank International has operated under a single brand, Coutts. The bank, which can look back on more than 300 years of history, unifies the brand worldwide. A brochure entitled “Exceptional” produced by WEES Corporate Designing and Linkgroup was presented at the Coutts global launch event in Zurich and Geneva. The brochure takes the form of a classic coffee table book in four language versions. “Exceptional” places the client at centre stage, containing clear statements explaining the positioning of Coutts. Linkgroup delivers targeted services in connection with the production of corporate designs, sophisticated publications and periodicals, in electronic or print form – for designers, agencies and direct customers.

Know-how

True 1:1 marketing as a strategic success factor: Linkgroup helps charity exploit full potential of direct marketing.

World Vision Switzerland is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to helping children and families in the struggle against poverty and injustice. World Vision’s sponsorships help create a web of connections between people in industrial and developing countries, with the aim of long-term development cooperation. In collaboration with /DEPARTMENT, Linkgroup has produced a publication geared to new sponsors. By way of thanks, each new sponsor receives their own personal booklet. The name, address, sponsored child, ID number and customer number are personalised for the recipient. Thanks to databases and on-demand printing, the smallest target audiences can be addressed with completely individualised content. Content is delivered as variable data; we automate the workflow and take care of production. Digital printing meets changing communication needs: multicolour, offset-quality printed media with variable content in small print runs, if necessary produced very quickly.

New developments

Employee magazines help motivate staff and shape corporate culture: Linkgroup and the best communications media in Switzerland.

Internal communications media in Switzerland are getting more and more important. They’re also getting better, ranking high in international comparisons. These are the pleasing findings of this year’s Swiss rating carried out by the Swiss Association of Internal Communications (SVIK/ASCI). The association awards its “Golden Quill” in five categories for both print and online media. Winner of the employee publication category (with a budget of more than CHF 750,000) was the SBB Newspaper (SBB-Zeitung, the Swiss national railways’ employee publication). But good things don’t have to be expensive: you will find details of other award winners in individual categories in this article. Linkgroup supports SVIK/ASCI and the rating as a way of helping to enhance the standing of internal communications. For many years we have been working as a specialist corporate publishing production agency producing newspapers, magazines and online solutions in up to 14 language versions. To ensure efficient processes we use web-based, IT-driven cross-media systems. You can find out more about the 2011 rating in a special brochure initiated and produced by Linkgroup.
