Know-how

Switzerland’s best internal communications media:
Coop maintains dialogue with 53,000 staff and wins the 2010 rankings.

Whatever the attractions of an intranet or social media, a professionally produced staff publication is still an efficient and highly valued communications medium. This has also been the experience of major retailer Coop, whose Coop Forte magazine has received the “Golden Quill” awarded by the Swiss Association of Internal Communications (SVIK/ASCI). You will find also find details of the winners in individual categories in this article. Linkgroup supports SVIK/ASCI and the rating to help enhance the standing of internal communications as a component of corporate communications. For many years we have served as a specialist media provider in the production of staff newspapers, magazines and online solutions in up to eight languages. To ensure efficient processes we use web-based, IT-driven cross-media systems. You can find out more about the 2010 rating in a special brochure initiated and produced by Linkgroup.

Tracking the pulse of Swiss PR – first Practice Monitor Report published: 58% of PR professionals are women, a figure that could grow to more than 70% in only a few years.

The Swiss Corporate Communication and Public Relations Practice Monitor 2010 Report tracks trends in the Swiss PR industry. The most significant influences currently are digital communications and social media. The findings have been published for the first time in the Practice Monitor 2010 Report produced by the Swiss Corporate Communication and Public Relations Observatory, founded by the Università della Svizzera italiana in collaboration with SPRI, BPRA, .HarbourClub. and pr suisse. The Swiss Observatory, which plans to conduct regular studies, is the central platform for the survey of communications professionals in Switzerland. Besides Linkgroup, the Swiss Observatory is supported by Adecco, Adwired and YJOO Communications. It carries out both regular surveys and ad hoc studies to provide data designed to enable the industry to improve professional practice on an ongoing basis. The next study is already planned for February 2011. Linkgroup produced the publication for the latest study, which can be downloaded or ordered.
